Cam-Lever clamps by the design of Marius Hornberger

Here you will find my revised version of Marius Hornberger’s camlever-clamps for CNC worksurfaces.

The holes of the clamps have the exact same diameter as the holes of my wasteboard-file. The system works with 18mm holes to accomplish the use of 18mm copper pipes as hinges. The fit should be tight, so that the clamps will not come loose by themselves. To ensure a tight fit, you might as well do a test cut first

I changed Marius’ SVG-file a little and smoothed some of the curves, which decreased the file-size and increased the usability with your CAD-/CAM-software.

My files consist of four 60x60mm distance blocks as well as eight camlever clamps.

The following link will bring you to Marius Hornbergers YouTube videos concerning his camlever clamps and other cnc-related work.
His videos on the topic of cnc, woodworking, workpiece alignment and clamping are some of the best out there and I highly recommend watching them if you are new in the field of CNC-woodworking.

Also Marius Hornberger recently set up a new website and shop, where he sells plans and also made all his old files for his camlever clamps available for free. Make sure, to check it out!
